Decent Sancerre, some delivery issues

I ordered a bottle of Sancerre and some Crystal Wine Glasses. The ordering process was straightforward on their website. Package took 8 days to reach California, which felt a bit long. Everything arrived in good condition, though, the glasses were particularly well-protected. The Sancerre was exactly as expected. Customer service responded quickly to my delivery inquiry, which was good.

Good Bordeaux, fast shipping

I bought a Bordeaux Red Wine. It arrived on time, about 4 days to my house. The wine was well-packed and tasted good. No issues.

What's the deal with their shipping to the US? Does it take forever? Do I need to be home to sign for it?

D David 4 months ago
I'm in California and it usually takes about a week to ten days, sometimes a bit more for bigger orders. And yeah, someone over 21 has to sign, no getting around that with wine deliveries.

They ship pretty carefully packaged too, I got a mixed case and everything was snug. From what I remember, an adult signature is definitely required because it's alcohol.

Hey guys, thinking of ordering some nice burgundy from Perfect Cellar. Is their stuff legit? Like, real deals or just overpriced bottles you can get anywhere?

D Daisy Z. 4 months ago
Yeah, I've ordered from them a few times. They seem to focus on smaller producers near famous regions, so not just the big names. I got some killer Saint-Emilion from them last year, definitely not something I just see at my local shop.

Totally legit. They source from boutique places, I think, so it's not like the mass-produced stuff. Quality was good on the Barolo I got last month.
